Position Summary:


To perform administration duties to support the Quality Assurance function and in doing so ensuring compliance as laid down by the regulatory requirements.

The position holder will report into the Site Quality Manager. The role has no budgetary or line management responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:


Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as Master Control Administrator; controlling the collaboration, review, issue, approval and attachments of files and give support to Master Control report requests as necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance to Quality Systems and to external regulatory requirements.
  • Perform quality administration actions for both changes to existing products and for the introduction of new or re developed products.
  • Providing clerical and administration support for the QA Department, where required.
  • Coordinate and store paperwork, documents, and handle quality documentation computerbased information.
  • Assisting in the drafting, maintaining, issuing, and updating of SOPs, POIs, and quality documentation, as required.
  • Ensuring that all work relating to the typing and issuing of documentation systems is performed in a timely an effective manner according to agreed procedure.
  • To act as a QA representative for documentation queries and investigations.
  • Provide audit metric data for Monthly Management Meetings, Management Review and for adhoc requests.
  • Act as host room messenger during audits of Remel Europe by third parties (e.g. Oxoid, Remel, BSI, FDA).
  • Arrange, minute and record actions from meetings as requested.
  • Responsible for familiarising and follow all health, safety and environmental rules, policies, procedures, and any instruction relevant to working within their area of the company.
  • Any other duties/projects as are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the postholder.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 4 GCSE's including English Language and Maths.
  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
  • Have a methodical and detailed approach to work, with a desire to show initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • IT literacy.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience of working with electronic QMS is desirable but not crucial.
  • Confirmed experience in a quality related system role.
