Our client a leading player in the energy sector based in Belfast and run on an all-island basis, have a requirement for a Warehouse / Logistics coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis

Duties include:

  • With the support of the National Terminals Manager, promote visible leadership for Health & Safety issues to ensure legal and company standards compliance.
  • Ensure the management of challenges relating to process control deviations and adverse weather conditions that may require prioritised resolution to maintain LPG supply, customer service and site integrity.
  • Represent Calor with authorities (Belfast Harbour, HSENI etc) and emergency services (Fire Service, PSNI etc) and local community as required to enhance company's reputation. Be part of the Emergency Response Team, ensuring preparedness always maintained.
  • Liaise with Supply Manager on inbound LPG supplies and coordinate ship discharge activities.
  • Liaise with Maintenance and Project Engineering teams to ensure planning of all maintenance and project activities around supply and shipping schedules.
  • Ensure that all stock movements are balanced daily and monthly to physical stock. Report stocks daily to National Terminals Manager and balanced reconciliation with Finance at month end.
  • Manage Permit to work system for all site activities in conjunction with projects and maintenance teams.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders ensuring collaboration in the drive for efficiency and improvement throughout the company to meet the needs of the business and the company's objectives.


  • Safety

  • Make proactive and reactive decisions on safety audit and inspection findings. Prioritise work based on risk assessment. Understand when to refer to higher levels. Ensure that all permits and/or RAMS where applicable are Issued in conjunction with Engineers and maintenance teams to help ensure all work is carried out as safely as possible. Review RAMS in advance of works and escalate any issues with the Engineering Manage

The Person:

  • Competent person with ideally 5 years' experience in the fuel storage and distribution industry.
  • The ability to communicate with individuals of all levels.
  • Ability to develop and nurture relationships across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
