Production/QA Coordinator | Permanent | St Albans | Salary £33k
We have a fantastic new Quality Assurance/Production role working for a thriving business based in St. Albans, where you'll be working for some exciting and big-name brands. This is a permanent fast paced role full time office based in a lovely working environment.


You must have
QA or production experience in a retail (high street or online) This is a great opportunity for someone who has already some experience in this area of business, who wishes to learn and progress their career.

The Basics

The Responsibilities:


  • To manage/control initial risk assessment process of proposed products for safety, legality, and fit for purpose. This will require good knowledge and understanding of UK and EU legal/safety regulations, e.g., PPE, Cosmetic products, CLP, EMC/LVD, Medical Devices, Food Contact materials, Packaging Waste regulations, General Product Safety etc.
  • To trial all products and compile artwork brief legal and mandatory statements/symbols, safety warnings, and instructions for use.
  • Work with suppliers to improve product performance where required. This will encompass analysis of customer complaints and returns.


  • Factory Compliance

  • Social & Ethical responsibility (SEDEX, SMETA audits), Customer Technical audit requirements, Environmental/ Sustainability performance.

The Skills & Requirements:


  • Quick learner the product ranges are very diverse, and you will need to have good research/investigative skills.
  • Problem solver.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience of working with China preferred.
  • Strong planning ability.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Able to adapt to changing situations quickly.
  • Good PC skills.
