Support safer communities as a field monitoring officer:

You'll receive three weeks of ICT training at the start and work with a training officer on the road until you're comfortable with the role.

And with support from your manager, you'll have the chance to grow your skills and progress your career, whether that's into a management role or within the wider business.

Compensation:
You'll be rewarded with £26,349 and a company car which includes personal use.

Working hours:

You'll be working on a rotating shift pattern, between 5pm - 3am which averages 37.5 hours per week including some weekends and bank holidays.


Location:
You will be home-based and spend your shift visiting people in communities across your region. Ideally, you'll live in WD/EN/NW/HA

What you'll be doing:


  • Checking and cleaning equipment on issue and collection, as well as quarantining any equipment needed for evidence
  • Keeping paperwork uptodate and following standard operational procedures
  • Taking part in meetings with your team and line manager.

What we're looking for:


  • Full driving license and Right to Work documents
  • Ability to work on a shift rota basis (night shifts, day shifts and parttime hours available)
  • Friendly, personable with the ability to put people at ease
  • Resilience, patience and ability to adapt to different circumstances
  • An interest in getting out and about and travelling around to visit people in their own homes.

About Electronic Monitoring Services (EMS)
We're helping to ensure public safety across the country and address the growing concerns about overcrowding in prisons.

As part of the Criminal Justice System in England and Wales, we electronically monitor the location of individuals who may pose a risk to people or their property.

Electronic Monitoring technology is used to deter individuals from breaking curfews and support them to successfully complete their sentences.
