This role will place you at the heart of our customer journey and you will be the first point of contact in moments that matter to our clients.

While industry experience is a benefit, it is not essential as we will provide you with full training and support when you start with us.

What your day will look like

  • Liaising with customers, insurers, suppliers, and colleagues across the country
  • Reviewing policies to correctly determine if a claim is covered and how to progress insurance claims
  • Ensuring the policyholder is kept informed on progress of their claim by composing informative letters and other written correspondence
  • Reviewing data to set up new claims, appointing contractors and updating claims on internal systems
  • Issuing payments to policyholders as well as arranging settlements and invoice payments where necessary
  • Ensuring claims are updated with any changes on the internal system
  • Ensuring compliance with our contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Contributing to team, division and wider business growth and development

Abilities and Knowledge

  • Great communicator, dedicated to providing a professional and empathetic service to our customers
  • Ability to deliver outcomes in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with great attention to detail
  • Efficient administrative skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office with ease
  • Strong numeracy, literacy, and IT skills
  • Proven experience dealing with challenging conversations, while maintaining a professional and adaptable communication style
