Description

Global Venues/Hooners is a management company that runs entertainment and leisure venues in Birmingham. They currently run 52 Gas Street, Forum and Monastery Complex. They are looking for a creative and independent individual to help build up their marketing, content a customer relations.

Global Venues are looking for marketing and content apprentice to join their team and help manage their marketing output.

This also includes helping with customer enquiries, creating copy and content to go out on their website and social media.


  • Main Responsibilities will be the following:
  • Managing the CRM for events and shows
  • Protecting and building awareness of the Brands
  • Establish demographics
  • Management of data
  • Create images and content to advertise events and other projects
  • Reporting back on progress of marketing materials
  • Building a marketing plan
  • Building a knowledge of all platforms
  • Measuring analytics and reporting back
  • Optimising content for SEO
  • Maintaining the web site
  • Managing social ads
  • Dealing with customers and customer enquiries
  • Work to branding guidelines
We are a small team and looking to build strength for the future.

This is a job where you maybe asked to attend late nights (being a late night venue) and attend events.

This has to be someone who is confident and is sociable.

Entry requirements

You need to have a Maths and English GCSE or equivalent level 2 qualification - Grade 4/C and above.

You need to be 18 or older for this post.

Training to be provided

Digital Marketer Level 3 Standard

  • Apprentices learn the skills they need on the job with the guidance of a development coach who is an expert from industry. You will finish your apprenticeship with a recognised qualification, valuable industry experience, money, and substantial opportunities for promotion.

Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training

Things to consider

This company works in events and entertainment. You need to appreciate that you may need to work late nights and weekends. This position is for 18 years or older due to the nature of the role.
