Whiston Industries have a vacancy for an experienced 5 Axis Laser Programmer Setter Operator.

Your role will be to manage our laser cutting production, ensuring all projects are completed to the correct specification, the highest quality and customer requirements.

A strong understanding of 5 axis laser cutting machines is required along with the ability to program, both offline and at the control, set, operate and manage.

You must be self-motivated, pro-active, a good communicator, conscientious and have a hands on, can do attitude.

Linking and liaising with our press production teams, the role includes the opportunity to expand into full production management.

You will be based solely at our plant in Cradley Heath so must live within commuting distance. This is a full time position with strong career progression opportunities.


Experience required:

• Programming, setting and operating 5 axis laser cutting machines
• Working knowledge of Prima controls
• Salary: dependent upon experience
• Working hours: 40 hours per week
• This role may require the individual to work overtime when requested.
