We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Meeting & Events Porter/Host in the Clayton Hotel Belfast

Objective of the Role


Reporting to the HOD and Meeting & Events Porters/Host is an individual who makes sure that a huge part of this department is kept functioning at all times.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To offer the highest level of guest service in all meeting & events ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.
  • To meet & greet all corporate guests who are attending a meeting or event in the hotel.
  • To check set ups for corportae guests.
  • To post meetings & events charges
  • Gathering & collating client feedback.
  • To handle customer complaints if they occur.
  • Referring customer leads to the sales department.
  • To assist with any chages that might occur of the day of an event/conference.
  • To check and send out client invoices.
  • To work as part of the team, being aware of colleagues and their needs.
  • To promote sales within the department and across the hotel.
  • To enhance the guest experience.
  • To ensure that the M&E areas have safe working practices and that all spillages etc are tended to without delay.
  • To ensure that you have an indepth knowledge of your departments standard operating procedures, particularly room set ups.

Requirements:


  • Experience working with customers
  • An excellent command of the English language
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment
  • Be a strong team player
