An opportunity has arisen as Broker Support within our Asia Pacific Team in London
.


This role focusses on providing support to the broking teams and assisting clients in the optimisation of their reinsurance programmes.

What you will be rewarded with?

We will rely on you to:

  • Coordinate all placement support activities and deliver proactive, valued support within our client teams
  • Draft contracts and endorsements and initiate the contract drafting process
  • Assist brokers in preparation of renewal documents
  • Actively engage with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Support our Brokers in placing our clients reinsurances; engaging with reinsurers where required, and tracking the placement status of assigned accounts
  • Actively participate in team, client, and reinsurer meetings
  • Work closely with our accounting colleague
  • Efficient use of all our proprietary systems including our Reinsurer marketing interface and Premium, Claims and Accounting workflows.

What you need to have:


  • Previous Insurance or Reinsurance experience
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong communicator with an ability to build relationships with stakeholders and present information
  • PC Literate, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Good level of numerical skills
  • A desire to develop in a technical Reinsurance function
