Group Financial Accountant

Location:
Nottingham (with hybrid working)

Salary:
up to £50K dependant on experience


T2M Resourcing are delighted to be recruiting this key role; Group Financial Accountant for an international market leading group of companies that are creating a new Group Reporting team.

Based in the Nottinghamshire (although with hybrid working) thisinternational group is at an exciting period of change with new private equity investment.


Reporting to the Group Financial Accounting Manager, your remit will include re sponsibility for drafting and preparing and delivering elements of consolidated financial reporting including:

  • Regular management reporting, operating profit and debt report
  • Monthly management reporting and financial and reporting
  • Run the monthly consolidation process
  • Produce halfyearly and fullyear external reporting and results for review
  • Prepare the decs for audit & risk committee and remuneration & nominations committee papers
  • Support the quarterly forecast, annual strategic plan and budget process
  • Responsible for the provision of financial support to the other internal and external stakeholders, including provision of information for decision making purposes including:
  • Management of all data submissions, ensuring data is timely, complete and accurate
  • Understanding the information received, ensuring analysis and explanations are understood
  • Highlight technical accounting issues with proposals for resolution
  • Ownership of financial reporting for certain Group entities
  • Ad hoc analysis and modelling to analyse scenarios that impact Filters
  • Contribution to the drafting and implementation of new accounting policies

To be successful in this Group Financial Accountant role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Be a qualified accountant, ideally ACA, ACCA with 5 years PQE including experience in a Group role
  • Experience of working a listed business an advantage or a large group with global legal entities
  • Experience in accounting under IFRS and understanding of fundamental key accounting principles
  • Willing to learn new systems and processes
  • Solid experience working on consolidations for a Group with multicurrencies
