Airship have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full-stack Developer to join the team.Location:
Sheffield
Salary:
£40-55k depending on experience plus a profit-sharing scheme

Airship is an established SaaS (software as a service) company based in Sheffield.
We have embraced a flexible, informal and collaborative working culture. We are largely an
in-person team and we enjoy the collaboration that that brings. For the first 3 months you'll be
in the office at least 4 days a week, learning from the rest of the team. After that you'll be in
the office at least 3 days a week.
Senior Full-stack Developer - Key Responsibilities:
- Your role will kick off with mastering our overall product architectures and APIs, shadowing
- You'll drop into our sprint kickoffs and standups so you have exposure to our processes and learn how we work and who we are
- Once you're feeling confident and know your way around our products, you'll start collaborating with the Product Development team to brainstorm solutions to engineering challenges
- You'll help to modernise the codebase of our older product while taking full advantage of our
- Bugs are bugs, and we're not immune to them either. You'll be qualityfocussed, squashing the critical ones as they arise, assisting the Customer Success team with troubleshooting where necessary
Senior Full-stack Developer - You:
- You'll love writing code and deeply care about learning your craft as well as contributing to
- You'll need to be familiar with HTML, CSS and one coding language, preferably Javascript or PHP
- Experience in NodeJS, Laravel, or React would be useful too. You will also be familiar with using APIs, such as REST or GraphQL
- You'll no doubt have some projects under your belt to show off your technical interests and
standards-compliant code
- Experience mentoring junior developers would also be helpful
