Recruit Moore have been approached by our client in Southampton to support them in finding a Telecoms Product Specialist.

As the Telecoms Product Specialist, you will ultimately be responsible for keeping abreast of industry changes and their impact to the group, maintaining a knowledge base with relevant internal stakeholders, and at times interacting with customers for complex product support.

You will develop and manage a telecoms pricing function with relevant resource and be responsible for ensuring adherence to internal SLAs and quality.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and thrives under pressure.

You must be commercially minded and a strong relationship builder, with experience talking to customers as well as building proposals and visiting customers.

Duties to include

Support product and pricing
To act as a product specialist
Support maintenance of a knowledge base
Feed into and help develop growth through marketing campaigns and ongoing product/service development
Act as a complex query escalation point, liaising with suppliers, customers and internal functions as necessary
Support new business activity to facilitate new wins (presentation, visits, calls, or tender information)
Support renewal activity to facilitate customer retention or crosssell opportunities (visits, calls, tender info)
Support effective and commercially beneficial relationships with suppliers, maintaining a close network in conjunction with the telecoms product owner
Support adherence to processes relating to the telecoms product are documented and available to the teams utilising them
Feed into telecoms product owner to help ensure cohesive and transparent working practices remain 'fit for purpose' following industry or other change

Our client is looking for someone with

Experience working in the telecoms industry
Business development or sales experience
Strong understanding of all telecoms products; Mobile, business broadband, Cloud Voice, Ethernet, MPLS

Salary - £30,000+ DOE
Hours - 09:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday
