Description

8A Groups & Digital Therapy Lead: CBT Therapist/Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
Maternity Cover - 1 year Fixed Term

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical/ Counselling Psychologist / CBT Therapist to join a high performing and creative management team within Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies (THTT).

We are part of East London NHS Foundation Trust which has been named one of the HSJ Top 10 best places to work in healthcare, HSJ Provider Trust of the Year and graded as 'Outstanding' for a second consecutive year by our regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We believe that staff who feel valued by the Trust and are truly engaged in the organisation deliver better outcomes for our patients.

This Trust is clinician-led, and provides the highest possible level of clinical expertise throughout its services.

We have set ourselves the mission to improve the quality of life of all we serve, and have embarked on an ambitious Quality Improvement Programme to transform the culture of the Trust to one of continuous improvement, delivered through participation of all staff and with service users, carers and families at the heart of our efforts to improve.

You will be joining a dynamic management team and support the service in delivering the main KPIs by providing creative leadership in developing the talking therapy groups program and supporting the performance and development of a small team of therapists under your direct line management.

There will also be an opportunity to deliver supervision for therapists working in the wider team.

These vacancies are offered with the expectation that all clinical staff work one late evening per week (11am until 7pm).

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the group service provision within Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies, by ensuring sufficient capacity; managing group waiting lists and reviewing and introducing new clinical group offers.

The role would be to lead on the delivery and supervision of group-based interventions across modalities and steps of care and focus on maintaining clinical effectiveness of groups through face to face and digital platforms.

The role would need to ensure that group-based interventions are delivered in a client-oriented and culturally sensitive way.

It would also include development of digital therapies in the service, expanding on our current computerized CBT programme and implement the service's vision of delivering digital therapies as a platform for innovative practices and service promotions.

Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve

Our values are:

We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive - so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.
