What will you be doing?- Responsible for the protection of public health through production and distribution of wholesome water.
- Responsible for the day to day running of operations with continual focus on improvements for customer focus and operational productivity.
- Managing a team that operates and maintains source to tap water services to the public and commercial sectors across multiple contracts.
- Lead by example and support the team manager to show, promote and acknowledge positive behaviours and develop a proactive safety culture.
- Ensure that sufficient resources are in place to provide training for the team on site to operate safely and efficiently including with L&D on team development.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Detailed and thorough knowledge of potable water regulatory standards
- Detailed and thorough knowledge of water operations
- Managerial experience with the ability to demonstrate safety leadership
- Water Treatment to HNC or equivalent is desirable
