We are looking for an exceptional Head of Design to:

Lead the Design team to determine current level of design knowledge to identify skill gaps and produce plans to train, support and mentor individuals, upskilling where required to ensure quotations and design proposals are delivered to the highest standard possible.
Review the current pricing model and process for High Rise projects and develop a best practice approach for designing and delivering such work, with ongoing involvement and support end to end where required.
Lead the Design team to understand current competencies, upskilling the team with expertise and provide ongoing support with DNO/IDNO processes and governance.
Support individuals throughout both Pre-Construction and Post Acceptance design teams to work towards and achieve NERs accreditations in line with business requirements / needs.
Support where required with ongoing business recruitment to increase expertise within the business and expand in house capabilities.

You will ideally have:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in producing both a design and cost for LV/HV/EHV electrical infrastructure.
A minimum of 5 years' experience closely working with people and teams to assess skills and develop plans for improvement and upskilling.
Clear and strong understanding of DNO/IDNO processes, specifications and governance.
NERS accredited in line with industry requirements.

£50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
