Workshop Operative, Full Time, Great Barford, Bedfordshire

We are looking for a driven, self-starting individual to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis to carry out the day-to-day activities required to keep our workshop and warehouse running smoothly

THX is aspiring to be the hire company of choice to specialist contractors where on-time delivery/collection and reliability is paramount.

We are aiming to provide our services to 80% of high-rise construction projects in London, while also servicing sites across most of England.

Exceptional customer service is critical to our success, and we pride ourselves on delivering and collecting on time, at least 98% of the time.

In this role you will:

Clean hire equipment, including pressure washing
Regularly check, clean, and tidy our yard, workshop, warehouse, and vehicle parking areas
Provide support to our warehouse, workshop and driving teams as required
Test equipment
Rebrand new equipment with THX stickers
PAT testing (training provided)
Use a computerbased system for administration.

It is essential that you bring:

Excellent verbal communication skills
Experience of cleaning, organising, and tidying
Physical ability to load, unload and move cargo
A cando attitude with willingness to help out
Ability to work quickly and methodically
Ability to concentrate whilst doing repetitive tasks.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday, approximately 6:00am-4.00pm or 7.00am-5.00pm, and sometimes overtime may be required to meet customer demand.
