About The Role:

We are seeking a
Process Operative - Panel Cutter to work within the Divan Department, Leeds.

Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4pm**Reporting to the Production Manager, the Process Operative will cut and feed Divan covers for production on a flat bench with a hand cutter.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with the QA team; analyse comprehensive reports to check throughput, material yield, processing times and individual job statistics.
Ensure smooth workflow with maximum output.
Ensure tasks are completed within set timescales, maintaining quality.
Discuss complications with Team Leader and come up with solutions for increased productivity.
Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers, and other service providers where necessary.
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

About You:

Key Skills & Experience:

Enthusiastic and flexible approach to react on a daytoday basis to all requests, both internal and external.
Ability to selfmanage your time during the working day.
Comfortable with using a handheld power tool.
Attention to detail and the ability to think clearly and work under pressure.
Ability to multitask, work to deadlines and prioritise workload to deliver expectations and tasks.
Excellent communication skills & confident in cross checking labels
Experience with panel cutting desirable.
