Warehouse Operative - £20,000 - £24,000 Per Annum + Benefits Package

Do you have previous warehouse experience? Are you looking for your next role as a warehouse operative? If yes, then read on

My client is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join their team as a Warehouse Operative. In this role you will follow clearly defined procedures, and will typically be considered skilled through on-the-job experience.

For this role, you may be required to cover another site that is easily accessible by car and public transport.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receiving deliveries, checking they are correct and booking them into the system by checking both the goods and paperwork.
  • Decanting the goods
  • Creating labels for each package
  • Scanning documents in each package to maintain a soft record of the paperwork
  • Keeping the warehouse and surrounding area clean and tidy to promote good Health and Safety practices

Skills, qualifications and experience needed:

  • Experience of working within a warehouse location
  • Stock counting experience
  • Capable of moving boxes and items by hand, as well as climbing steps/ladders
  • A forklift license would be beneficial

Experience:


  • Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift License (preferred)
