Join one of Cirencester's most established employers on a 4-month contract as a Team Secretary.

A leading employer in a dynamic industry, this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in providing confidential administrative support to the Director's team, whilst gaining experience and skills within a supportive team.

Starting in January 2024, this 4-month temporary contract is paying up to £15 per hour. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 09:00am-5:00pm, with flexibility to work from home once training is completed.


In the role of Team Secretary, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing a busy diary and inbox, ensuring efficient organisation and timely delegation of tasks.
  • Screen all incoming calls, handling written and verbal queries with professionalism, and escalating issues to senior colleagues when necessary.
  • Prepare highquality documents and presentations for the team, oversee business correspondence, and actively support department initiatives.
  • Take charge of travel arrangements and accommodation bookings, and contribute to seamless event planning.

Requirements and skills for the role of are as follows:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, showcasing a strong foundation in administrative responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint, coupled with excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Independent problemsolving skills, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a tactful understanding of the confidential nature of interactions with senior business members.
  • An adaptable and flexible approach, coupled with the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic work environment.

Role Details:


As a Team Secretary, you will step into a crucial role, supporting the Director's team with day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects.

With a responsibilities ranging from managing schedules and correspondence to preparing vital documents and minute-taking in meetings, you'll be a natural multi-tasker with an exceptional eye for detail.


With a focus on resolving escalations and providing updates on queries or actions, this role contributes directly to the efficient functioning of the company.


You'll be provided with full training to ensure you are able to work effectively and be part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Plus, as a Niche temporary worker, you will accrue holiday pay, have weekly pay and if you stay past 12 weeks of employment, benefit from a pay increase and be opted into our pension scheme.

Many of our temporary workers have gone on to secure long term contracts or permanent roles with this employer.
