Liquid Personnel is currently looking for an experienced English/Humanities Teacher to join our client in Woking.

Our client is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality, therapeutic, and child-centred education to boys and girls from 6 to 17 years of age at their New School in Woking, who come from a wide range of backgrounds, but all have Social, Emotionaland Mental Health needs (SEMH).

Many will also have other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

More information on the role of English/Humanities Teacher:

  • They require an English specialist with experience and/or ability to plan and deliver a curriculum that spans Entry Level, Functional Skills, Key stage 3, and GCSE
  • The role will require the teaching of the Humanities and the creating of opportunities to enhance students' cultural capital through the inventive use of trips, speakers, visitors, and activities beyond the classroom

Essential requirements of this English/Humanities Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A proven record of good or outstanding teaching practice.
  • An excellent, efficient, and emotionally intelligent communicator.
  • Experience of working with a SEN environment
  • The legal right to work in the UK
