The Role
The Executive office for Authorisations and COO Office supports Emily Shepperd in managing diary commitments, liaising with staff and external stakeholders and ensuring communication and co-ordination with the CEO's and other Directors' offices.
The Professional Support role helps with the smooth functioning of the Executive office for Authorisations and COO Office, working closely with Emily Shepperd and her private office team, as well as PAs across the organisation.
This is a crucial role in ensuring that Emily can carry out their responsibilities as efficiently as possible, that staff from across Authorisations, Operations and FCA can progress work quickly, and that divisional administration is carried out to a high standard.
What does the role involve? What are the key responsibilities? Assisting the ED/COO PA by booking rooms and refreshments for meetings, collecting guests from reception, arranging travel, processing expenses and general ad hoc assistance- Act as SharePoint superuser and maintaining and organising the offices SharePoint files- Assisting the ED/COO PA where required with organising the ED's/COOs engagement plan- General support for the office, working as part of a team with a group of dedicated colleagues- Cover for the ED/COO PA as needed- Maintaining and updating pages on Pulse- Opportunity to work directly with the Executive Director of Authorisations and Chief Operating Officer- Establish & build a good network and working relationships with colleagues at all levels across the FCA- Work in a busy, challenging environment with a wide & varied workload, requiring judgement and drive.

The base salary range for this role is up to £26,000 to £41,000 (London) and £23,400 to £38,000 (National) per annum, plus an additional flexible allowance.
