Receptionist (Temporary)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Receptionist to join a well-established organisation based in Belfast.
This is a Full-Time Temporary Position - with an immediate start.

Working hours:
Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm (35 hours per week)

With an hourly rate of £ £11.58 per hour


Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for providing full administrative support and receptionist services to the team and visitors upon arrival.


Essential Criteria:


  • Previous and demonstrable Reception and Administrative experience within a similar setting.
  • Excellent IT skills with the use of Microsoft Packages.
  • Previous switchboard experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Operate telephone switchboard and deal with telephone enquiries, staff, and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Update the business website content and social media platforms as required.
  • Manage the car parking arrangements.
  • Carry out general administrative duties and assist the administrative staff as required.
  • Carry out basic catering duties setup trolleys for meetings, courses, break times and place orders for supplies.
  • Maintain the room booking system and ensure room set up.
  • Maintain Stationery inventory and place orders.
  • Administer the Access control system.
  • Support the Operations Manager in preparing for both internal and external events.
  • Assist the Operations Manager.
  • Maintain asset registers such as the key registers.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures including the Equality of Opportunity and Health and Safety policies.
  • Participate in personal and professional development activities as required.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.
