Kitchen Assistant Role
We currently have an opportunity available for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team.


The Kitchen Assistant will be part of the catering team ensuring the highest standards are achieved and will support in ensuring the nutritional content of the meals provided cater for the dietary needs of all residents.

The role will work with the Head Chef/Chef with meal service and providing refreshments for the residents and guests to the home


The Assistant role will ensure the public areas such as dining rooms and café are clean and stocked appropriately such as crockery, cutlery and glassware in the home.


What experience do we like you to have for this role?
You'll need to have worked within a catering role previously and have experience of working in a kitchen environment.

You will have excellent written, non-verbal and verbal communication skills and be an effective team player and be able to work as part of a team.


You will be the type of person who can engage easily with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.

If you hold an NVQ level 2 in Food Hygiene, this is desirable, but not essential.
