We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic
IT Technician to join our team based in
Sheffield.You will join uson a
full time, permanent basisand in return, you will receive a competitive salary of
up to £25,000 per annum.
About the role:
As our Senior IT Technician, you will maintain and resolve server and infrastructure problems for our school and business clients.
Some of what you will be doing as ourIT Technician:
- Provide onsite support for our school clients from day to day tasks to larger server and infrastructure projects.
- Assist & enable the progression of business and IT projects for all infrastructure tasks.
- Solve & resolve any issues relating to Infrastructure, Cloud, Network and Telephony for our the clients.
- Deploy/configure infrastructure and network equipment to the companies' standards.
- Occasionally provide outofhours oncall support for all IT infrastructure issues.
- Working closely with other teams and stakeholders & 3rd parties.
What we're looking for in our IT Technician:
- Experienced with Microsoft Server, desktop operating systems & Active directory/Group policies.
- Experienced with managing network devices with good knowledge of network principles such as TCP/IP, VLANS, firewalls, routers and switches.
- Knowledge & experience with Azure.
- Experienced with virtualization platforms
- VMware, Hyper-V (installation, configuration & management).
