Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing and performing multiple quarterly audit engagements year-round to help identify and manage risks to the business.

What YouDeliver

  • Provides leadership across all aspects of the Internal Audit process including assessing risk, evaluating technical controls/operations, and partnering with COE leads and peers to identify and evaluate issues.
  • In partnership with functional leader, contribute to development of a long range plan to ensure appropriate coverage of the auditable entities.
  • Assists the functional leader in developing solutions and presenting audit issues to senior management.
  • Effectively communicates audit results within the audit leadership and our business partners both verbally and in writing.
  • Reviews audit reports for quality, consistency, and executive messaging.
  • Assumes significant accountability for audit plan execution by managing staff during engagements of varying complexity and scope.
  • Leads the design, development and maintenance of a comprehensive engagement plan.
  • Provides leadership and direction for the engagement teams to ensures that fieldwork is properly conducted and completed in accordance with the audit plan, staff is supervised, work is reviewed, and followup work is performed, as necessary; findings are communicated to internal audit and business management.
  • Analyzes and assess impact of engagement observations and identifies themes across multiple engagements/entities.
  • Takes on special projects and leads organization initiatives.
  • Oversees and ensures audit reports and other audit documentation are developed timely and with high quality.
  • Offers leadership oversight, training, review, and guidance to staff.
  • Provides ongoing feedback on work completion and performance to team members and direct reports.
  • Contributes to the operation and management of the department in areas such as recruiting, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, organization performance metrics, presentations to management, and training.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement to audit methodology, tools, and training.
  • Supports department objectives and performs other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. Outoftown travel is approximately 25%.
