Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team.
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients' establishments and their patrons.
Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:-
Surveillance: Monitoring premises through patrols, CCTV systems, and other security equipment to detect and prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or any other suspicious activities.

Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries, addressing concerns or conflicts calmly and professionally, and enforcing venue policies and regulations with tact and diplomacy.

Crowd Control: Managing crowd flow and ensuring orderly conduct during peak hours, special events, or busy periods to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patrons and staff.

Emergency Response: Responding promptly and effectively to emergencies, disturbances, or incidents such as fights, medical emergencies, or fire alarms, following established protocols to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Collaboration: Collaborating with venue staff, management, and external stakeholders such as law enforcement or emergency services to coordinate security efforts and effectively address security-related issues or concerns.
Experience Required:
- A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is mandatory.
- Previous experience in security, particularly in offices, bars, pubs, or highstreet retail environments is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and effectively with diverse individuals.
- Sound judgment and decisionmaking skills with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV, and other security equipment
- Basic knowledge of firstaid procedures

£9.00-£11.00 per hour
