Finance Assistant

Part Time 21 hrs - 3 days per week, flexible working will be considered)

£23,000 + benefits (including 25 days annual leave, pension)

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity is going through an exciting time where we are rebuilding and growing


We are pleased to be in a position where we are growing our care teams so that we can continue to deliver a high-quality family support service to more families in need.

Our strategic plan is to rebuild and then continue to grow.

This is a perfect time to join us as we have just opened two new Care teams in Liverpool and Reading.


About the role:


We are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to work closely with the Finance Manager, to maintain an efficient and accurate finance function within Rainbow Trust.

What we're looking for:

Competent in processing financial data
  • Applications will be particularly welcome from those who have experience of working in a finance or HR department, processing supplier invoices, using Sage 50, or processing payroll changes

A co-operative and helpful working style- you are able to work well with others, and offer a responsive and friendly service to all stakeholders

Attention to detail and consistent - you have excellent attention to detail, even with repetitive work, producing accurate work whilst following, established guidelines, policies and procedures

A proactive approach - you will be a self-starter who thrives on prioritising work to meet month-end deadlines and use your initiative to add value to the team

Confident use of MSOffice and experience of using a finance or HR database - you are comfortable working with data, and produce high quality accurate work


Applications will be particularly welcome from those who are educated to A level or equivalent, and have an AAT qualification or working towards the qualification.
