A private day nursery in Shepherds Bush, London are looking to recruit a dedicated and
experienced Nursery Room Leader to assist in leading an enthusiastic and passionate team.


The salary is £26,500.00 depending on qualifications and experience.
The nursery is easy to commute from Hitchin, Charlton, Letchworth Garden City and immediate surrounding areas.


Responsibilities of an experienced Nursery Room Leader includes:

  • Working closely with the Nursery Manager to manage and organise the room.
  • Ensure that all children attending the nursery are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Supporting the staff in the room
  • Planning appropriately for children using the EYFS framework
  • Maintaining accurate and effective children's records
  • Working in partnership with parents/carers
  • Following and understanding safeguarding procedures and ensuring that children are kept safe

In order to be considered for the experienced Nursery Room Leader position:


  • Must be at least Level 3 qualified:
  • Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
  • An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families

Experience of managing/supervising staff as a Nursery Room Leader:


  • Experienced with working with toddlers:
  • Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside
  • Managing and maintaining administration requirements
  • Have a clear DBS, have 2 satisfactory references
