Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and suitably experienced ACP, to work alongside nurses and medical staff to enhance the patient experience within the Surgical Assessment Centre.

The post holder will provide clinical management of surgical patients during their inpatient stay.

The role will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team which comprise of Surgical Consultants, doctors in training, as well as the more traditional health care roles.

The Surgical Advanced Clinical Practitioner will work within a defined scope of practice and to agreed clinical standards applied within a local setting.

The role will be multi factorial including nurse prescribing, clinical assessment, first assistant on theatre. The role will improve the quality of and access to health care provision and strengthen professional leadership.
