We are a privately run day nursery in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and are looking for someone with a childcare qualification, full and part time staff within our Baby room and Tweenies room.

The successful applicant will hold a relevant and recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare and will be employed on a full/part time basis.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• To participate in providing a caring, safe, learning environment for children/babies.
• Be aware of the signs and symptoms of possible abuse and to report all concerns without delay.
• To promote the child's physical, emotional and social development.
• To assist in the provision of all child care activities.
• Maintain good standards of hygiene for all children/babies.
• Work as a team, building good relationships with children, parents and staff.
• To have a good working knowledge of the Nursery and its policies.
• Work within the guidelines and have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Attend regular staff meetings and training programme.
• Promote the good name and reputation of the Nursery both externally and through good relationships with parents and prospective parents.
• Have a good working knowledge of the Nursery and its policies

Job Types:

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Up to £23,000.00 per year
