We are certified fire door manufacturers and installers, as well as solid surface fabricators who strive to provide the highest level of precision and care.

We are seeking a skilled Fire Door Assembler to join our team.


Fire Door Assembler - Responsibilities

• Manufacture fire doors, frames, and glazing/beading to manufacturers guidance and in accordance with our certification requirements.
• Adhere to fire safety regulations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Estimating the materials needed for a job.
• Work to production schedules to ensure client deadlines are met.
• Report to management on production updates and provide progress reports.
• Report to management any risk which may impact the business or lead times.
• Ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
• Preparing doors for despatch.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products are finished to a high standard and meet certification standards.

Fire Door Assembler - Knowledge and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years proven experience working as a fire door assembler.
• Qualification in bench joinery with a specialisation in fire door assembling.
• Proven experience in the fitting and maintenance of fire doors to a compliant standard.
• Indepth knowledge of fire door regulations and industry standards.
• Be competent in the use and setting up of machines, such as an Edge bander, Wall saw, Hot press.
• Work with various hand tools.
• Be able to work with veneer, laminate, and paint grade fire doors.
• Be able to install hardware and ironmongery.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret drawings.
• Conducting site surveys.
• Demonstratable ability of personal organisation and effective working alone and within a team.
• A positive and enthusiastic work ethic.
• Ability to prioritise.
• Have an initiativetaking attitude and demonstrate flexibility.
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem solving to improve processes and efficiency.
• Comfortable working with lead times.

Pay - Negotiable depending on experience.


Hours - Monday - Thursday 08: , Friday 08:00 - 15:30.

£16.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
