Job Purpose:


You will lead within your locality or compliance area on the co-ordination of van stock, material sourcing and waste management, working closely with our providers to ensure a smooth delivery.

Co-ordinate the contracted services, making sure they are delivered to agreed processes, training standards, levels of performance and quality throughout Property Services.

Be responsible for maintaining high data quality in our materials related sources.

Ensure that data is held centrally for full transparency and that suitable contract arrangements are in place for the continued management all compliance elements within yourdefined areas.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Source materials for the delivery teams and enhance the "right first time" performance outcomes.
  • Responsible for monitoring the performance targets and working with key stakeholders to ensure they are achieved, demonstrating drive and energy.
  • Work in partnership with the Systems Team to manage the interface for van stock and core stock ordering solutions.
  • Link into the Systems Team to provide appropriate training to trades and key stakeholders for the correct utilisation of the relevant van stock software and the processes
  • Review material and waste procedures, performing assurance checks on processes, monitoring the usage via the software and retrain / update where necessary.
  • A reputation for driving excellent customer service and a right firsttime service delivery
  • Experience of using computer systems, for example Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Visio, Uniclass, Agresso
  • Own and Maintain Van stock templates for operatives based in localities or compliance teams
  • Analysis of supplier data to provide insight, trends, and recommendations to the business for continuous improvement
  • Day to day management of supplier product catalogue, including the management of price increases, additions and removals, systemic maintenance and the sign off process.
  • Continuously seek realistic ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness in your role, to help the department, and Sovereign, achieve its goals and value for money.
  • Test and learn to ensure that processes are adapted for continuous improvement alongside looking to improve the product range purchasing, consolidating, and streamlining across the business where possible
  • Identify any perceived risks and ensure that timely and appropriate action is taken to eradicate or mitigate these risks.
  • Promote a positive collaborative culture of Building Safety and Compliance.
  • Undertake other duties, within the level of responsibility, to meet the changing needs of the organisation
  • Develop own capability through continual personal and professional development that will
assist in improving own performance in the role, ensuring all core and mandatory training is
completed and kept up to date

  • Demonstrate everyone safe and well everywhere, everyday by making health and safety a primary consideration in your decision making

Knowledge & Skills:

  • An understanding of supply chain management in a building environment.
  • The ability to manage suppliers' performance against contractual KPI's etc.
The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively both with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring longevity in partnerships

  • Experience and passion in delivering a customer focussed service.
  • Analytical and good problemsolving skills

  • Ability to impact assess and to understand the difference between 'major' and 'minor' data
issues

  • A proactive, professional, and logical approach to problem solving with strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of methods to monitor the quality of data and identify issues e.g. reconciliations
  • The ability to be selfmotivated, highly organised and ability to manage your own workload, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills including sound knowledge of preparing presentations and using pivot tables
