As part of our ongoing committment to acheiving manufacturing excellence, Nautic Engineering Limited is looking to welcome a full-time inspector to our team.
The role is best suited to an enthusiastic individual who has completed their level 3 apprenticeship in an engineering discipline and is now looking to further their career in the quality control and assurance disciplines.
The Trainee Quality Inspector role will involve:
- Inspecting, measuring and reporting on manufactured products.
- Inspection of all paperwork including job packs and material certificates to ensure all quality criteria are met.
- Inspecting, engraving, assembly and testing of our range of pressure and vacuum relief valves
- Inspecting incoming raw materials and components, ensuring material traceability
- Inspecting parts after sub contracted processes or treatments such as heat treatment and surface coating
- Calibration of measuring and test equipment and maintaining calibration logs
- Completing and recording all quality checks within the quality management system
- Monitoring operations confirming they meet production standards
- Supporting the QAR with quality related functions
Requirements to be considered for this Quality Inspector role:
- Completed a level 3 apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
- Basic understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
- Basic understanding knowledge of GD & T
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
based at our factory in Little Hulton, Salford.
Starting salary:
£11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 39 Hours
- Monday to Thursday 07:00 16:00, Friday 07:00 12:00
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- 30 days paid annual leave (inc. Bank holidays and Stats)
