The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Revenues and Benefits Service is committed to providing high quality services to all of its residents.

We are looking for an experienced Benefit Team Leader to join our Housing Benefit/Council Tax Support Team.

  • The postholder should be able to provide effective, visible leadership and to efficiently manage all aspects of the team of specialist staff who cover the assessment of Housing Benefit/Council Tax Support/Discretionary Housing Payments and Financial Inclusion as well as the invoicing of Adult Social Care charges.
  • Ideally holding an IRRV qualification you should have an excellent knowledge of all aspects of Housing Benefits/Council Tax Support/Welfare Benefits legislation, including subsidy, and be able to provide advice and guidance to staff in connection with the detail of the authority's Adult Social Care charging policies.
  • While based in the Town Hall in Maidenhead, RBWM offers a hybrid working model and will consider applicants who work from home.
