People Business Partner
Gloucestershire with travel required around the site network
c£50,000 + benefits including car allowance

In this role, you'll work closely with their Head of People to provide a professional and effective HR serviceacross the business.
You'll partner with business leaders, delivering a high-quality employee and manager experience, providing guidance and building strong and effective relationships with stakeholders across the operational site network.
There will be a large amount of travel involved with the role, predominantly within the south and south west of the UK.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coaching, supporting and providing expert guidance to line managers on the full range of People activities in line with the company's People Strategy.
- Provide advice and guidance on individual complex ER cases ensuring these are well managed and meet the requirements of all policies and procedures, best practice and employment legislation.
- First point of contact with managers regarding all ER matters.
- Ensure managers receive relevant training on all HR policies. Upskilling managers in line with the People strategy.
- Process mapping internal procedures.
- Absence management: support sites with absence management issues, LTS and welfare support.
- Management of HR projects as and when required in line with the people roadmap.
- Performance management alongside managers
Skills and experience required:
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of employment law and the principles of best practise
- Ideally previous experience gained within a multisite business
- Experience of complex ER case management
- Able to multitask and prioritise workload within a fastpaced environment
- Proven track record of owning and delivering on a variety of HRrelated projects
- TUPE transfer experience desirable
- Persistent and creative in solving problems
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and to build relationships across different functions
