The role


To deliver the effective receipt, storage and distribution of all stock and consumable items across all departments and locations at London Stansted Airport.

To highlight any inefficiencies found in the current end to end processes. To ensure all Inventory data in the Asset Management System is up to date and accurate.

Accountabilities:

  • Process, receipt, store and despatch all goods received by London Stansted Airport into the central and forward stores.
  • Distribute stores to central and forward store locations.
  • Manage all transactions on specialist Maximo and SAP systems.
  • Responsible for managing all returns to suppliers.
  • Negotiate rates and raise orders on SAP systems for items for repair.
  • Responsible for receiving goods into stores.
  • Receive products from suppliers generated through SAP system activities.
  • Receive products from suppliers generated through Maximo inventory purchases in support of the AMS maintenance process.
  • Keep vendor and price details up to date for all inventory items.
  • To facilitate a comprehensive logístical distribution service.
  • Maintain a high level of Health and Safety and housekeeping standards in accordance with HSSE requirements.
  • Undertake regular stock checks to ensure accurate stock levels achieved in the Asset Management System.
  • Provide administrative support to senior managers within Logistics as required.

  • To be knowledgeable about the facilities and layout of the airport in order to assist passengers and airport users with their queries
  • To demonstrate a flexible and helpful attitude, assisting in the smooth running of the airport
  • To maintain professional standards at all times including personal appearance in accordance with uniform and PPE standards.
