We are currently recruiting a Global Category Buyer (Lingerie) who will be integral to driving high-level performance across the Lovehoney Group.

The purpose of this role is to build a commercial range using a combination of data analysis, competitor research and consumer trends to identify the product, pricing and margin opportunities.

Partnering with the product development team, you will build the best supplier relationships to ensure the delivery of a product range for our target consumers that's delivered at the right time, at the right cost and that achieves the business' financial targets.

What you will do:

Develop a range in line with category plans to achieve sales revenue, units and profit targets that support the agreed departmental strategy
Regularly review ranges against performance and competitors agreeing an option framework with the Head of Buying, ensuring a balanced commercial and profitable range is built.
Maximise sales through new and innovative range building, continuity management, exiting of slowmoving lines and promotion planning.
Identify new products, ranges, and suppliers to enhance the category offering.
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to maintain market leadership and drive sales.

What you will bring:

Experience in branded buying, including strong negotiation skills and relationship building
Strong commercial awareness
Extremely adaptable and used to working in a fast paced environment
Ability to identify best practices, recommend new processes and ideas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
