Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a
Junior Estimator to join the team at our headquarters and manufacturing facility in Bothwell, near Glasgow.

Overview:

The role of Junior Estimator will be to support the Commercial Team, involving estimating the cost of projects and gathering information on such as its size and scope.

You will be meticulous in your work and thrive on delivering exceptional service.

Main duties & responsibilities

Assisting with the estimation and pricing of projects
Calculating costs based on blueprints, drawings or other reference materials provided by architects or engineers
Compiling estimates of labour costs and material costs to prepare bids for construction projects
Carry out measures to assist in the production of priceable documents
Reviewing bids from vendors to ensure compliance with contract requirements
Ensure that all submission deadlines are met accordingly

Qualifications / Experience

Suitable for an HNC/HND Qualified persons in Surveying or similar Construction related courses
Detail oriented and deadline driven
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be flexible, adaptable and proactive

Salary:
£22,500.00-£26,000.00 per year
