About the role:


As a key member of the AXA Commercial Future Skills and Capability team, you'll take responsibility for the creation, evolution and maintenance of standardised, engaging and effective reports and dashboards.

Driving strategic decision-making relating to current and emerging skills needed within AXA Commercial, including those which are part of our Early Careers provision.

Partnering with the People team and stakeholders, you'll use initiative and expertise to draw insights and projections from data to build into current and Future Skills planning.

This includes annual training schedule, Early Careers strategy and Employer Brand campaigns. You'll do this by leveraging a range of analytics technologies and tools.

You'll support planning for current skills development and capability activities, including resource allocation for and scheduling of technical training. This includes ad-hoc support for Employer Brand campaigns and collateral.

You'll create and maintain a dedicated online portal for learning solutions in collaboration with UK L&D colleagues, to ensure consistent look, feel and ease of access for colleagues.

What you'll be doing:


  • Design timely and effective delivery of MI products to meet business needs, typically through the creation of advanced selfservice dashboarding and data visualisation, underpinned by accurate and robust data from internal and external sources.
  • Deliver annual technical training and associated resource schedule.
  • Design and delivery of portal for Underwriting Capability Framework and associated learning solutions, working in tandem with L&D for 'Core & Common' Leadership and other transversal solutions.
  • Maintain holistic Capability plan and represent Future Skills and Capability team in UK and Business Unit specific governance forums.
  • Education of People BPs and the business on Future Skills processes and tools.
  • Partnership with CII and other external bodies as appropriate.
  • Track Future Skills and Capability budget and Employer brand campaigns, including ROI metrics.
  • Seek out opportunities to improve processes to ensure value continues to endure.

About you:


What we're looking for:


  • Experience of working in a planning, reporting or analytics environment.
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Access, data warehousing and visualisation technology, specifically Power BI and Azure.
  • Futurefocused with knowledge of technology platforms, including analytical tools, and an entrepreneurial interest in finding better, simpler and costeffective tools from looking at other analytical best practice, either internally or externally.
  • Experience of working as part of a team to deliver change in a matrix set up.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commerciallysavvy and customerfocused with a determination to deliver quality MI products.
  • Proven ability to balance own workstack of competing demands and deliver at pace.
  • Experience of developing reporting products that continue to serve customers' requirements beyond initial launch.
  • Strong data visualisation and skills with an ability to spot trends and underlying root cause of issues.
  • Business acumen, including understanding how the business operates and being able to talk the "business language".
  • Knowledge of Commercial Insurance an advantage.
