Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our established client in the Chippenham area who urgently require a Production Manager on a permanent basis.


What you will be doing:

In this hands-on role, you will be involved with the following:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Managing the production team including staff training, development, training and reviews
  • Production planning and development of a robust production strategy
  • Regular reporting and forecasting taking into consideration seasonal trends and lead times
  • Ensuring quality systems are maintained to ISO standards
  • Project work as and when required
  • Liaison with a number of different departments to ensure a smooth production process

What you will need to succeed:

  • Proven track record in a similar role ideally gained within an original equipment manufacturer or the construction industry
  • First rate staff management skills including motivating and developing teams
  • Engineering production experience including welding, fabricating, finishing and assembly
  • Strong commercial acumen including reporting skills producing and analysing management reports
  • Good organisational, problem solving and prioritisation skills
