MARKETING ASSISTANT
We are looking for a creative and proactive marketing all-rounder to produce digital content, press adverts, and printed materials for our auction house and on-site café.
- An interest in antiques
- Professional experience of social media
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Basic to intermediate Photoshop skills
- DSLR photography skills
- An understanding of design, ideally with Canva or InDesign experience
- A good standard of written English, ideally with copywriting experience
- The ability to plan their work, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines
Duties include:
- Monitoring the auction calendar and planning relevant marketing activities, working proactively with the Valuers to create engaging content
- Website content creation and management using Wordpress and one other backoffice system (training will be provided)
- Creating social media posts including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
- Designing press adverts and printed materials using Canva or InDesign
- Identifying opportunities for PR coverage, writing press releases, and managing relevant media
