MARKETING ASSISTANT


We are looking for a creative and proactive marketing all-rounder to produce digital content, press adverts, and printed materials for our auction house and on-site café.


  • An interest in antiques
  • Professional experience of social media
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Basic to intermediate Photoshop skills
  • DSLR photography skills
  • An understanding of design, ideally with Canva or InDesign experience
  • A good standard of written English, ideally with copywriting experience
  • The ability to plan their work, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines

Duties include:

  • Monitoring the auction calendar and planning relevant marketing activities, working proactively with the Valuers to create engaging content
  • Website content creation and management using Wordpress and one other backoffice system (training will be provided)
  • Creating social media posts including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Designing press adverts and printed materials using Canva or InDesign
  • Identifying opportunities for PR coverage, writing press releases, and managing relevant media
