Are you a forward thinker with experience of working with volunteers? This is an exciting role with a range of different tasks.

St Helena is looking for someone to join the Volunteer Services Team, who has excellent administration, great problem solving skills and can communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

£17,972.20


Hours:

30 hours per week

St Helena Hospice, Colchester & remote


What we're looking for:

This role is responsible for volunteer recruitment across the organisation and you will be liaise with line managers to promote and advertise volunteer recruitment using a wide range of platforms, updating systems and recording information as well as overseeing the work placement programme for young students.

There is a requirement to attend external recruitment events on occasions and so a full driving license and access to your own vehicles is essential.


You will need to be a team player while being able to plan, organize and prioritise your workload efficiently as this is a part-time position of 30 hours a week over four days.


Our volunteers are at heart of everything we do at St Helena, with over 870 volunteers who dedicate their time to complementing the care we can offer to our patients and their families.

The Volunteer Services Team are responsible for recruiting and onboarding all volunteers, as well as ensuring volunteers remain compliant with training, supporting volunteers and line managers and implementing the volunteer strategy.
