We are looking for a
Global Marketing Lead, Mitochondrial Diseases who is
experienced in Marketing activities in context of launches in Rare Diseases, able to build strong cross-functional collaborations and execute marketing strategies; to join us in our
Rare Disease organization, based in one of our European hubs (eg HQ in Brussels, Slough in the UK or Switzerland).


About the role


Reporting to Global Asset and Brand Mitochondrial Diseases Lead, the Global Marketing Lead, Mitochondrial Diseases will lead the development and execution of end-to-end global rare marketing strategy for our two late-stage assets in in this Rare Disease indication, as well as disease awareness and global digital initiatives.

Combining strategic counsel, tactical implementation, and engagement across our rare stakeholders (medical, development, access, I2I, commercial operations, launch excellence, corporate communication etc.), the initial priorities will focus on launch preparations, lifecycle management, and planning for post-launch market evolution and clinical differentiation.

In addition, the Global Marketing Lead Rare indication will closely collaborate with regions and country teams to successfully deliver on the launch of this portfolio.

What you'll do

  • Providing a global commercial perspective for key marketing and launch decisions to ensure successful commercialization, execution of key initiatives, and alignment with the rare strategy
  • Drive key initiatives, such as patient diagnosis and genetic testing, and partner with the regions and medical affairs in market development / launch preparation efforts
  • Build close relationships and collaborate with regional partners to gather insight to refine global strategies so to execute endtoend commercialization strategies as part of remit of the global product team and as a member of the commercial team
  • Provide commercial input to unmet needs, target product profile, market assessment and forecasting, patient journey, competitive landscape, and staying abreast of market dynamics and the shifting treatment landscape to adapt marketing strategies
  • Lead / support production of core commercial platforms including, emarketing, disease awareness and promotional materials
  • Lead global Medical/ Legal/ Regulatory (MLR) for marketing material and Disease campaign and sign off on any deviation to core campaigns prior to implementation
  • DSA campaign at Global congress/meetings such as steering messaging and speaker activities
  • Performance and key activities tracking with support of Operations and LEX (Brand plan, Goals, KPI's, Sales/OPEX, utilization, patient #'s, market shares etc.)
  • Effective budget management

  • Leader who lives our Patient Values
  • Rare Disease Experience at a Global level. Experience in European or International Markets strongly preferred.
  • Min 7 years of Marketing Experience, Rare disease, ultrarare and genetic diseases experience strongly preferred
  • End to end, gotomarket experience to lead impactful launch
  • Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working on and leading a highprofile global ethical launch, including disease state, and patient education programs is essential
  • Having clinical acumen, and specifically marketing experience and promotion to HCPs
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge and experience of the rare, ultrarare marketplace (competitor products, Key Opinion Leaders, advocacy organizations, diagnosis efforts, genetic testing, and patient support services) is also expected
  • Ability to manage multiple activities with strict deadlines, provide highquality plans, anticipates obstacles or challenges and approaches with a cando/solving mindset, budget management, agency management
  • High energy, handson team player with a "cando" attitude and ability to think outofthebox as well as collaborate and create alignment across diverse crossfunctional internal as well as external stakeholders
  • An ability to thrive in a matrix environment, demonstrate resilience and networking skills, and establish strong credibility at all levels within the organization is very important
  • Outstanding transversal attitude and skills
