SCP 2 A- B1 SCP- 6


Hours: 8:30-3:30pm (with 1⁄2 hour lunch break) 32.5 hours - Term time plus 5 days

Contract:
Fixed Term (One year in the 1st instance)


Start Date:
Monday 8th January 2024 (or sooner if possible)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our school. We are seeking to appoint a hardworking and dedicated Teaching Assistant to complement further our school team.

The position of Teaching Assistant is a vital role within our school development as we are committed to providing a high level of teaching and learning which is engaging, active and fun.


_ We are looking to appoint someone who:_
- _ Is committed to inclusion_
- _ Has a willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training for development within the post_
- _ Is able to assist the class teacher and other professionals as appropriate in the development of suitable educational activities_
- _ Is a good communicator and able to work well in a team_
- _ Will be a supportive and welcoming presence in the classroom and develop positive working relationships with parents_
- _ Understand how children learn and use their initiative to meet individuals' needs_
- _ Is patient, able to stay calm, listen, and value children's views_
- _ Support the ethos, vision and values of the school, abiding by policies and procedures._
