Description
Do you have experience of demand or production planning? Are you looking for a fast-moving and challenging role that offers long-term career progression in a genuinely positive work environment?

We have a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join our growing organisation. We are seeking someone who is organised, analytical, forward-thinking and proactive, with a never-failing eye for detail.

We are passionate in our belief that we are all part of the same team, so you will need to be able to influence and challenge in a positive way; and you will bring that positivity when demonstrating your capabilities in a role with ever-changing demands.

We do expect hard work and commitment - you must perform well under pressure, work well to deadlines and never, ever, let standards slide; but in return we offer a competitive reward package, a great place to work, and real prospects for progression in a global, well-respected organisation.

In this role, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Working with customer orders and forecasts to deliver cost-efficient planning;
  • Realtime reviewing of production performance and effective management of unforeseen issues;
  • Working crossfunctionally effectively and constructively, ensuring information is available on time to support and enable others to deliver;
  • ERP system management;
  • Maintaining and monitoring WIP & finished product stocks whilst minimising waste;
  • Putting in place action plans to target/eliminate potential waste;
  • Continually looking to identify and implement improvement initiatives that reduce labour spend and waste costs.
To be considered for this role, you MUST be able to demonstrate that:

  • You have a strong track record in a similar role, in a retailer-facing food-manufacturing organisation (preferably short-life chilled), and have gained a good understanding of the industry;
  • You are excellent at both written and verbal communication, and can use your skills to build positive relationships both internally and externally;
  • You are highly ITliterate, with particularly strong spreadsheet knowledge;
  • You have excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
Previous applicants need not apply.
