The role:
Our small but expanding firm of Chartered Accountants require a full-time Accounts
Responsibilities:
- Manage a select number of clients and providing direct operational/administrative day to day support.
- Preparation of accounting data for upload to accounting software.
- Organisational development support to help grow the practice.
- Workflow management to ensure completion of client work.
- Responding to client queries.
- General administrative duties as and when required.
Requirements:
- Ideally achieved or working towards a professional bookkeeping qualification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a general practice environment or professional services industry, although strong experience alone will also be recognised and considered.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
- Methodical approach to tasks and attention to detail.
- Proven bookkeeping skills ideally using accounting software such as VT Software, Xero or Quickbooks is desirable.
- Organised, reliable and willing to complete administrative and accounting tasks to support client deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Benefits:
- 35 hour working week.

£22,000 to £24,000 pa
