In this role you will focus on building relationships and trust with customers, communicating with clarity the way digital technology can better enable business outcomes.


Job description:


The Associate Digital Business Partner's role is to:

  • Develop trusted and influential relationships with stakeholders in order to understand the business needs and wants
  • Ensure that our service is valued as a key partner in the delivery of digital outcomes
  • Work in partnership with colleagues and networks, providing expert advice, assurance and guidance, and delivering insight and influence.
  • See through and support the delivery of key work items, including supporting colleagues in our Spend Control Function.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

The attached Job Description sets out the core duties and responsibilities of the role in detail, but the Associate Digital Business Partner will work across three key areas:


  • Business Relationship Management


Create, develop and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to ensure their voice is heard and real business value delivered from digital services.

Demand and Portfolio Management
Taking ideas from inception through to delivery, working with digital services colleagues to ensure demands are well understood. Work with the business to stimulate, surface and shape demand for digital capability.

Advice, guidance and Assurance


Be a ready source of advice and guidance for the business, ensuring compliance with relevant controls for Digital Projects and a focus on maximising value of investment in technology.


Person specification:


You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build strong and trusted partnerships to be able to influence and challenge people.

You will bring with you experience of delivering outcomes and experience of shaping digital and technology strategy.

As well as being an excellent communicator you will be able to engage with non-technical partners or stakeholders to engage and influence them.
