We're currently recruiting for a
Market Data Administrator , to join our Asset Management (AM) COO which has wide ranging accountability ensuring operational control of investment activities, supporting the Group and AM governance framework, and delivery of investment reporting.

This is an integral team within the function, established as a golden source for Market Data, enabling shared access across the Phoenix Group, purposeful for realising efficiencies, cost savings, optimize spend and use of market data.

Role / Team Context


This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in market data to be part of a new and growing capability in the highly specialised area of Asset Management.

This is an evolving team as the function integrates within the Phoenix Group.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managed Service Lead t ake ownership for Phoenix's inventory management database by managing CMDSL
  • Maintaining MDM with changes and alerts to ensure accurate inventory working with CMDSL
  • Manage vendor notifications and alerts seeking guidance from MD analystas necessary
  • Processing MD BAU Requests in timely manner and confident in dealing with business users, senior management, stakeholders, counterparts and MD vendors
  • Managing MD Inbox ensuring requests are dealt with in a timely manner.
Triaging incoming requests and ensure they are logged, assigned, and tracked via Jira

  • Provide support to MD team on various market data administrative tasks and p roject activities
  • Pro duce and verify financial reports and create market data dashboards on regular basis to provide to businessmanagement and stakeholders
  • Work with business management and finance to track and report on market data costs against the AOP
  • Reconcile invoices against contracted cost to approve for payment
  • Track and investigate unpaid invoices and ensure adherence to prompt payment code, inform MD analyst in case of issues
  • Assist in identifying and delivering on cost saving opportunities and track savings vs. new demand
  • Assist in audit requirements and educate endusers on data usage policies are adhered
  • Provide support in developing and improving market data policies
  • Ensure MD Confluence page, SharePoint and documentation are accurately maintained
  • Ensure MD contracts are uploaded to iHub contract database

What we're Looking For

Essential

  • Good experience of Market Data Inventory tool, (CMDSL, infomatch, FITS or similar)
  • Demand Management and understanding business requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and individuals to deliver to a high standard
  • Ability to work to tight timescales within a high energy team and fast changing environment
  • Well organised with attention to detail
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with a wide range of sta
