A distinguished practice in Birmingham, that promotes a highly collaborative approach and has a plentiful portfolio across numerous sectors, is looking to hire an ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistant within their studio.
This award-winning studio delivers a broad array of exciting projects of varying scales including Infrastructure, Transport, Airports, Education, Sports Grounds & Clubs, Heritage/Conservation, and more.
Key Criteria
- A desirable variety of projects up to £30m in construction value
- Projects based locally and nationally
- Delivery of projects across all RIBA stages 0
- Designing new buildings that are energy efficient and meet environmental standards and regulations
- Create plans and drawings which clearly outline the architectural design of projects that meet the local council's Building Regulations and requirements for Planning Permission
- Site visits to ensure the quality of work and adherence to safety standards
- Provide a keen eye for detail throughout the entire design & construction process
- Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules, and budgets
- Contribute to projects running on time and within budget
About You
- MArch Part II Architectural Assistant
- 2+ years of Post-Part II experience on UKbased projects
- Intelligent design and concept skills
- Strong organisational, creative, technical, and presentation skills
- Proficient in Revit, or similar 3D/BIM Capable Software
- Competent knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM)
This a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Part II Architectural Assistant, who can intelligently design and develop concepts, constructing 3D models and detailed design using Revit.
Preferably, you should have some experience & knowledge of all RIBA stages 0-7 related to project completion and diligently communicate with clients, contractors & stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
You should also be able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis to ensure building regulations & requirements for planning permission are being followed.
This is a permanent position, with plenty of project responsibility available immediately and as you continue to establish yourself within the studio.
