    Job Summary


    We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 main contractor on an exciting portfolio of projects within the water sector across London.



    About the Role



    The successful candidate will oversee the financial and contractual aspects of multiple water sector projects, managing costs, ensuring project budgets are adhered to, and that each project meets financial targets.



    Responsibilities




    • Cost Management: Manage and forecast project costs and budgets to ensure accurate financial planning and control.

    • Contract Administration: Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contract terms to minimize risks and maximize returns.

    • Collaboration: Work closely with the project team and client to achieve cost-effective solutions and meet project objectives.

    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and negotiate final accounts to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.

    • Site Monitoring: Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and cost control, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

    • Financial Advice: Provide financial advice and support to project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and expertise to manage project finances effectively.



    Requirements




    • Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the water or civils sector.

    • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of contract administration, with NEC contract experience a plus.

    • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with clients and project teams.

    • Collaboration: Ability to work independently while collaborating with site and office teams to achieve common goals.

    • Analysis: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate financial planning and control.
